My name is Danielle and I am passionate about advocacy and creating equal opportunities for all. I am involved in political campaigns, the President of the African-American Culture club at my school, and a wannabe blogger who talks about issues that concern me. The person that inspires me every day is my mother. I want to help others as much as I can while I am alive and I hope to one day be able to take care of my mother the way she did for me. My goal as a global citizen year participant is to open myself up to new adventures, hopefully to one day see myself in a different light as a global person.
