Alice Wong

Alice is passionate about public health and international understanding. Born and raised in Hong Kong, she has long involved in Chinese literature, dance and calligraphy. Alice worked as a lab assistant for a local university, carried out clerical duties in hospitals and she was a First Aider in high school. During her time in Ecuador, she hopes to know more global health issues, immerse herself in a new culture, learn Spanish and to equip with life skills for college and beyond. One of her favorite quotes is "A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song."
