Hello everyone, I am Nate Edwards and I have grown up in the beautiful state of Colorado. I am very excited to be a part of Global Citizen Year, and look forward to the upcoming challenges and adventures that the next year will have to offer. I have had a strong desire to learn Spanish for the past few years and Global Citizen Year gives me the opportunity to learn the language, and to grow as a person. I enjoy the outdoors and have played a variety of sports throughout high school. I am anxious and nervous for the day we depart for Ecuador, but I know it will be a great life experience.

About Nathan Edwards
Nathan has been athletically active his whole life, and played football, basketball, and baseball all throughout high school. He is most proud of the landscaping business that he started in his community with a few of his friends. His passions include learning Spanish and finding ways to grow outside of his comfort zone, both of which he is looking forward to experiencing during his year as a Global Citizen. Whether he is snowboarding or hiking, he enjoys spending his free time outdoors.
