Lauren “Lolo” Spencer

A wearer of multiple hats, Lauren ‘Lolo’ Spencer is a disability lifestyle influencer, a model, a content creator, a public speaker, and an independent spirit award-nominated actress. Currently, Lolo can be seen starring as Jocelyn on Mindy Kaling’s HBO Max hit series, Sex Lives of College Girls, voicing the role of Jazmyn “Jazzy” Jones in Disney Branded Television’s animated series Firebuds, and making guest appearances on a variety of today’s hottest TV shows.

Winner of the Christopher Reeve Acting Scholarship in 2019, Lolo made her acting debut in the critically-acclaimed independent feature film, Give Me Liberty. Starring as Tracy, a vibrant and headstrong young social worker living with ALS, Lolo delivered what several critics noted to be a breakout performance; including The Hollywood Reporter, who listed hers as one of the top 25 performances of 2019

Named one of “50 Women Making the World a Better Place in 2021,” Lolo has more than 60K followers on Instagram alone, and nearly 15K subscribers to her YouTube channel, “Sitting Pretty Lolo,” where she showcases her life as a woman who uses a wheelchair and discusses a range of topics from disability fashion tutorials, everyday challenges dealing with society, dating, and her diagnosis journey. This year, Lolo has built upon her platform with the launch of Live Soloa lifestyle brand dedicated to young adults with disabilities who seek independence & self-empowerment.
