Irie is passionate about art, science, and poetry. Her motto for life comes from anthropologist Margaret Mead's quote, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Irie's goals for this year are centered around the idea that technology has the ability to intertwine international cultures on a larger scale than ever before. She is excited to explore these possibilities as a true 'global citizen' and is eager to (hopefully) dream in Spanish.
