The best place for me to feel calm and think, is any place that has trees.
I find myself having a hard time to sit and be present with others. This
has always been quite difficult for me. When in a large group i feel as if
i need a break to breath and recollect. Negative thoughts of judgement
spiral in my mind. When im in nature my mindset is completly different. I
think about the beauty around me, and it puts my mind at ease. I have
struggled with social anxiety my entire life, but this Gap year i have
found many ways to challenge it. I hope by the end of this Gap year i can
reach my goal, and feel just as comfortable with people as i do nature.
