So I’m learning to appreciate the little things. I’m co-teaching English at the school in my town and everyday my students teach me something new, especially the little ones. Being bombarded with questions of Como se dice ____ en inglés? (how do you say __ in english?) only to see them come running back seconds later, intrigued at their beautiful sense of wonder and curiosity. Being so openly embraced with their warm hugs, remembering that there is never enough love to be shared with others. And walking into class everyday and seeing how much joy fills their world and guides every action, remembering to appreciate every moment in life. and to live today. And perhaps most important to live today in the present, to smile regardless of circumstance. There’s so much value in the way children see life; we can learn from their innocence how to find happiness and become more grateful.
