While being in Senegal, the biggest change for me has been diet. Everyday I eat the same thing. Breakfast is half of a baguette with chocolate spread & milk. Lunch is Fish and rice with a few vegetables. Dinner is either the same as lunch or we'll eat millet and beans. I haven't been homesick but one thing i do miss is the food back in SF. A 4×4 from In'N'Out with Animal Fries on the side, all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, Quesadilla suizas from El Farolito, Blondie's Pizza, C.R.E.A.M., I could go on and on. I asked to my church to send me a care package with hella bags of chips. Lol I want some Dortios or something. The one thing I do love here is this smackin' apple soda call Gazelle Pomme. OOH! I almost forgot, they do make beignets and fatayas here. YO!! Fatayas are outta this world. Imagine if you took a cheeseburger with ketchup and french fries deep fried it in batter. ? Let me stop there, I'll see y'all next time.
