A ilha da magia The magic Island

On the weekends, when I went to the beach, I always hiked trails on the charming and amazing magic island (Florianópolis). When we are in another country, it is difficult to find and make new friends. But I had the pleasure to meet and make those friendships with people from Brazil. Sometimes I went alone, sometimes I went with "those friends" who became friends for the rest of my life. We did a lot of trails, like the trail of the spider's hill, the Peri trail, the exploration of the English hill and many more. The landscape and nature was very cool. However, the best thing was to share with my Brazilian friends and to learn from them and their culture. During the trails we had many conversations about different topics such as nature, animals, the universe and the importance of knowing other cultures, people and different mentalities in this life. One day, we were sitting on Santinho beach in the north of the Island and we saw a turtle in the sea. After looking for a while, we talked about how the turtles swim around the world and how when it comes to having babies, they always go back to their place of birth. I started to think and compare the animals with human beings and how we also try to return to our place of birth. Also, to see friends, people that we loved, and most important, our family. I will not forget those days. I really enjoyed my time there with these wonderful people where we always had good conversations.
