Semira is a Global Citizen Year Alum from the Senegal 2012 cohort. After college, Semira began working for a non-profit that supports college students and recent graduates to find short-term volunteer opportunities and internships abroad (sound familiar?). Currently, Semira is based in NYC and works as a recruiter for a tech-based company.
