As Mental Health Advisor for Global Citizen Year, Jamie Robinson provides staff and fellows with training and support around adjustment, mental health or other challenges during all phases of the program cycle. Jamie is one of 3 co-founders of P3 Mental Health Advisors, an organization that provides training and support services to the international education community at-large. Jamie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has held positions at The University of California, San Francisco and Notre Dame de Namur University as well as working in forensic and group home settings with adolescents. Jamie currently has a private practice based in San Francisco/Emeryville and is a mindfulness educator.
Jamie is a member of NAFSA’s Health and Safety Education Abroad Knowledge Sub-Committee and has presented nationally on the topic of pre-departure preparation in the field of study abroad.
Jamie is bi-cultural and bi-national by birth, and spent her early years living in Israel before moving to the United States. As a young person, Jamie studied abroad in France and India and has been lucky to travel extensively through Europe, Asia and the Americas.
