Archana Rao

Archana Rao has spent over 8 years at Faber and Faber, UK creating and building markets for multiple publishing houses in 27 countries in the Middle East and Far East. For the last two and half years, Archana has been doing grassroots development work in India at Grampari, the rural and ecology centre of Initiatives of Change, India. She led a water management project, working to provide clean drinking water as well as facilitating responsible water usage in local communities. Alongside this role, Archana has been working closely with several diverse groups of young, international interns and scholars, creating programs that facilitate their journeys in finding ways through which they can make authentic social impact through personal change.

Archana has an MSc in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, UK and a BA in Economics from Ithaca College, NY, USA. She is addicted to books.
