Rutendo Kahari

Rutendo is a 20-year-old Zimbabwean aspiring biomedical researcher with an interest in emerging science as potential tools for addressing infectious and tropical diseases prevalent in Africa. She’s also an advocate for bridging the STEM divide in Africa by empowering the youth in her Zimbabwe community with coding skills, and by serving as a science communicator for global STEM organizations. Rutendo is also an incoming pre-med freshman at Baylor University and a Take Action Lab Spring’23 participant.
