Abby Falik named “100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2017″ by Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs is recognizing Global Citizen Year and its CEO and Founder Abby Falik as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs at 2017 Builders + Innovators Summit in Santa Barbara, California.

Goldman Sachs selected Abby as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the two-day event. Global Citizen Year is a non-profit social enterprise on a mission to reinvent the post-high school “gap year” as a launch pad for global leaders. We envision a world where a global “bridge year” before college becomes common expectation and opportunity for students from all backgrounds – transforming education and launching a new pipeline of leaders who reflect our country’s diversity, and who bring global skills and moral courage to leadership across all sectors.

“We are pleased to recognize Abby Falik as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2017,” said David M. Solomon, President and Co-Chief Operating Officer at Goldman Sachs. “This is the sixth year that we’ve hosted the Builders + Innovators Summit where emerging business leaders gather to discuss their common interests in building prosperous organizations.”

Abby joins an impressive list of entrepreneurs including founder and CEOs from The Skimm, Mapbox Warby Parker, Minted, TaskRabbit, and many more.

For more than 145 years, Goldman Sachs has been advising and financing entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses. In addition to honoring 100 entrepreneurs, the Summit consists of general sessions and clinics led by Goldman Sachs experts, seasoned entrepreneurs, academics and business leaders as well as resident scholars.
