Executive Assistant to the CEO

The Assistant to the CEO provides support to Global Citizen Year’s Founder and CEO, Abby Falik. Through administrative skill, relationship management expertise, and communications support you will work in lock-step with the CEO to manage her schedule and maximize her impact. Core responsibilities include executive scheduling and travel planning, meeting preparation and follow-up, relationship management with critical external stakeholders, and serving as a frequent liaison to the Board, Advisory Council and senior leaders on the Global Citizen Year team. Position Responsibilities

The Executive Assistant to the CEO will be responsible for:

  • Scheduling: Manage the CEO’s workflow and calendar to align with priorities.

  • Travel Logistics: Oversee CEO trip planning, including managing domestic and international travel logistics, determining conference and event efficacy, and managing where the CEO speaks and participates externally.

  • Meeting Support: Assist with preparation for CEO meetings (ie: research and materials) and ensure timely follow up.

  • Relationship Management: Manage external stakeholder communications from the CEO and act as the point of contact for all requests and queries to the CEO, both internally and externally.

  • Event Planning: Manage logistics for quarterly board meetings and other board-related events.

Education and Experience

  • At least two years professional experience required
  • Experience providing support to senior executives preferred
  • Experience with fundraising/development preferred
  • Experience living/working outside the U.S. preferred
