Chief of Staff to the President/COO

About this role

This is a fast-paced, cross functional, high impact, problem solving role. The Chief of Staff is the right hand to the President/COO, acting to enhance her capacity, drive strategic alignment, and execute key organizational priorities. The Chief of Staff will help the President/COO operate better, faster, and with more insight across the entire organization. The scope of work is dynamic, and the ideal candidate is a business ‘athlete’ who is agile in their thinking and actions.

Your opportunity for impact

Drive Strategic Alignment

Lead and execute strategic processes on behalf of the President/COO, ensure alignment across the organization.

Enhance Capacity

Be the eyes and ears for the President/COO, coordinate and communicate to ensure alignment and progress across the organization; look for new ways to tackle old problems.

Execute Organizational Priorities

Translate President/COO's strategic vision and key priorities to implementation; design, lead and implement processes that cut across the organization.

Maximize our Board of Directors

Leverage the expertise of our Board; keep them engaged, help steer the direction of a high impact organization, create connections.

Other important characteristics:

  • Ruthless prioritizer, you manage competing needs and various work streams effectively.
  • Detail oriented with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Bonus points if have/are:

  • Strategic consulting experience and/or an MBA.
  • A generalist with deeper experience in one of the following areas: communications, sales, business operations, strategy.
  • Experienced working with Salesforce and excel.
