Sophie Meltzer

Sophie Meltzer is passionate about absorbing as much knowledge as she can from each situation she finds herself in. She enjoys playing sports, loves to read, and is determined to make an impact in the world, even if that means just affecting one person at a time. Over her Global Citizen Year in Ecuador, Sophie wants to gain fluency in Spanish, push herself outside of her comfort zone, and learn about what being a person means outside of her Massachusetts bubble. Sophie is thrilled to be taking this time to truly learn from those around her, and from the world itself. She is inspired by the stories of others and strives to understand life through as many perspectives as she possibly can.
