Maria is passionate about meeting new people, traveling, reading, the beach, and public speaking. She is involved with teaching a class of high school freshman how to public speak and collaborate with others, working with kids who have Autism, and volunteering at her local wetland to pull invasive species and pick up trash. Her goals for the year are to broaden her horizons, learn how to speak Spanish fluently, and make many new friends.
