Julieta is passionate about singing, social service, and justice. She attended UWC Robert Bosch College, where she learned more about the topics that she is involved in as cultural diversity, gender inequality, and environmentalism. Her goals for the year are to learn as much as possible from those little things in life and the people surrounding her, as well as to be able to make the best out of the experience. There is a quote that in Spanish says “Yo soy yo y mis circunstancias” (I am myself and my circumstances) and explains so well how one is itself when the unexpected surroundings are accepted. She wants to take this with her to Senegal to make part of herself all that is unknown to her today!
