Eduardo is passionate about Latin America, its vibrant culture, and all the social issues within it. He is a member of a non-governmental organization called SaFuGe (Save the Future Generations). The organization was made by students from United World College Red Cross Nordic where he was studying during the past two year. The goal of Safuge is to make studying conditions better for fellow students from all over the world, therefore, Eduardo had the opportunity to lead a project at his home town in Panama. The main goal of the project was to paint a homeless shelter which hosts many people from the countryside including adults and children. The project also involved a short English course in a primary school for children from four to twelve years old. He taught Basic English for one week and organized some activities with two companions such as dancing. His favorite quote is “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be”–Ralph Waldo Emerson.
