Brittany is passionate about the outdoors, public speaking, children's education, abolishing child slavery, eating a plant based diet(health), being immersed in new cultures, and building new relationships with people everywhere she goes. Brittany is involved in creating awareness of inequality in media, especially to young girls, women's rights (especially in other country's), and wanting to create/provide healthier food to America's public schools. Her goals for the year include: becoming proficient in her host language, letting the culture and experience redefine and shape who she is, creating new and lasting friendships, having a broader perspective on the world, eating lots of curry, and learning what the world needs most so she can become that thing.
