Application FAQs

What does your program cost?

The full cost of tuition is $32,500. To date 80% of our Fellows have received a partial scholarship, and 30% of those have received a full ride.  We’re committed to accessibility and won’t let finances stand in your way. Taking a bridge year is a big opportunity and we believe it should also be an affordable one. We offer both merit and need-based scholarships, and are committed to making our program accessible. We’ll work closely with you and your family to understand your financial need before determining your financial aid package.

When are the application deadlines?

The best time to apply is now!

We process applications on a rolling basis. This means the first students to apply get first crack at country placement and financial aid. Our final deadline for the 2017-2018 class is May 10th.

If you’re a rising senior, you can apply now for the 2018-2019 class. We’ll be accepting applications for the 2018-2019 class through Spring 2018.

You can start your application for either class here!

Do I get to pick what country I go to?

Yes! In the application you indicate your first through fourth choice, and we match students with their top choice a majority of the time. Check out our country quiz to find out which country is the best match for you.
